Flourish Retreats
Our lives are full. We have instant access to all the information on all the things we should be doing and how we should be doing them. In the fullness of our days, weeks, and months, sometimes we miss those things that are most important—the state of our souls, our connection to those most important to us, and our connection to God.
Maybe we need more than information. Maybe we need presence and community.
Through Flourish Retreats, Kim Fish and Michelle Harris offer space for participants to slow down and give attention to areas in ourselves and our relationships that we may be ignoring in our day-to-day lives.
We are passionate about helping people connect with Jesus in more intentional ways, understand how they are functioning internally, and how their relationships with others are being impacted. We’ve experienced the clarity and refreshment that come from stepping away and want to share that with others!
Our retreats are hands-on, interactive, and grounded in Scripture.
We walk a lot of transitions in our lives alone, hunting online for resources or community. We believe taking the time to look back to both celebrate and mourn the past in community equips us to move forward t0gether in hope.

This retreat is a time to process the changes happening in our kids as they move into preteen and teen years. We emphasize ways of staying emotionally connected to our teens.
-
In our retreat for empty nesters, we take time to celebrate the joys and successes of parenting children as well as the hardships and regrets. We look back to see God's hand in our parenting story and look ahead as we move into parenting young adults. This retreat leans on the work of Holly Taylor Coolman's book, Parenting.
-
Whether it's the start of the academic year or January, yearly fresh starts are a valuable time for your group to look back to both celebrate and mourn the previous year and move forward in hope.
We’re open to new themes and topics, but here are some that we’re passionate about!
-
Parenting through adoption
Parenting children with mental health challenges
Staying connected and attached to our children
-
How we have experienced connection in our childhood and into our adult lives affects not only our relationships but how we experience God. We'll explore and experience healthy connection.
-
A retreat is a great opportunity to take a deep dive into a specific passage or theme from scripture. Some of our favorites are: the love of God, the hospitality of God, Luke 14, Psalm 23, and Psalm 46.

“There were many engaging ways to allow us to be beautifully present while we discussed difficult topics. We had excellent scriptures, creative prompts, and dynamic activities to begin and end our discussion times, as well as relevant and highly trained professionals to share their knowledge on specific topics. “
